Mehran is a user experience professional who has worked in the web industry for over a decade. He specialises in information architecture, interaction design, experience design, usability and user research for web, mobile and embedded devices. Mehran has created web and mobile experiences for top 100 Australian companies including News Corp, Westpac, BT Financials, Cochlear and Tabcorp, and is currently the Lead UX/CCD at Tabcorp, where he manages leading customer brands like tab.com.au, Luxbet, Sky Racing, Sky Sports Radio, Tabcorp Gaming Solutions (TGS), and Keno.
Previously, Mehran worked as Information Architect and UX/UI design of Cochlear Global Online Services web portal, which managed to reduce the customer on-boarding process from 2 hours to less than 5 minutes and increased usability and customer satisfaction for all online and app products. He increased awareness, value and adoption of CCD within development life cycle. He has also contributed seamless user experiences as Interaction Designer and Experience Designer for Australia’s largest online networks (news.com.au, truelocal.com.au, carsguide.com.au, foxsport.com.au, newsdigitalmedia.com.au, 1degree.com.au, newsspace.com.au).
Mehran has a passion for startups, and has been involved in varying facets as co-founder, director or mentor for over 8 years.
A frequent guest lecturer on the subject of information architecture and user interaction design at Macquarie University NSW, Mehran likes to make complex things clear.
