Meghan is an accomplished marketing and business development professional who is engaged in furthering the causes of cannabis legalization and reducing veteran suicide and overdose. After graduating with her B.S. in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University, Meghan would go on to work for top-tier law firms and a digital advocacy startup in the Washington, D.C. area. Eventually, Meghan moved to California and joined the burgeoning cannabis industry, applying her previous professional experience in business development, project management, and event planning. Working in the space allowed Meghan to fully embrace her desire to publicly advocate for understanding and researching the medicinal benefits of cannabis. Meghan is an active member of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML). She also volunteers her time assisting the Veterans Cannabis Coalition, a non-profit advocacy group working to end federal cannabis prohibition, and Battle Brothers Foundation, a 501(c) charity focused on developing plant-based medicinal research.
