Mason Gallo
Open Source Developer, Google and R Project for Statistical Computing
Mason is a data scientist, open source contributor, and instructor. He has built machine learning models for many clients, including Hershey's, Pepsi, Estee Lauder, and TD Ameritrade. He is passionate about building tools for data scientists and training future data scientists.
Mason was awarded a spot on Google's Summer of Code program to develop new features for researchers and engineers within the mlr package in R. He is also a graduate student at Georgia Tech studying machine learning and researching student retention.
