Mary Cantwell is a longtime Atlanta educator who specializes in human-centered design education for students and Institutions seeking cultural transformation and empathy-driven design. Her background in design thinking (HCD) is rooted in her learning and coaching at the d.School at Stanford University. Currently, Mary travels around the world facilitating, teaching, and collaborating with schools, organizations, and learners to challenge status quo, strengthen pedological instruction, and create growth and change within the culture. Mary is an empathy engineer & design thinking integrator seeking opportunities for change and cracks in environments, spaces, and experiences. She is most interested in creating an impact in learning arenas, being a valued catalyst, and a futurist within an organization. She has the desire to roll up my sleeves, get down in the muck, and iterate ideas, actions, and projects with others. Mary is honored to work at General Assembly where experiential learning, innovative instructional practices, and diverse skills and backgrounds are celebrated.
