Marshall Sales is a native Texan and long-time Austinite, He's proud to be a zealous advocate to end the unjust prohibition against cannabis. After graduating from the University of Texas School of Law, he worked in Denver at Simplifya, a regulatory compliance company founded by Vincente Sederberg, the law firm that led Colorado’s Amendment 64 campaign. There, he learned the in-depth history of the legalization of marijuana and how cannabis businesses operate and comply with federal law, state statute, and local ordinances. Since returning to his home state, he has educated himself of Texas’ laws concerning cannabis and hemp, met with legislative officials to devise strategies to pass comprehensive change, and advised businesses who are working diligently in this market despite the archaic laws.
