Marek spent his career telling stories from data. After a decade applying a mix of qualitative and quantitative research methods to answer fundamental questions in neuroscience, Marek has spent the past 5 years working with more than 200 life science and technology startups to dial in business models, fundraising strategies, and product-market fit using evidence-based approaches to dispel entrenched beliefs. He is currently the Analytics Program Manager at UC Irvine's Applied Innovation where he is looking to blend conventional approaches to managing and interpreting data with new cognitive computing methods to drive technology commercialization in Orange County.
