Maggie is the founding Director of Terra Vita Stewards, a nonprofit environmental service organization. Since 2009, Maggie has worked to develop sustainable environmental practices with a focus on Tree planting and water conservation. These practices involve community action and environmental educational programs. She works with a team of staff to maintain a robust website that provides information and guidance on environmental sustainability in the areas of land, water, energy and air. For over a decade, Maggie has managed hundreds of volunteers, who help make Terra Vita Stewards’ community projects successful. Maggie’s greatest joy is to see members of the community happily engaged in restoring and preserving the environment. On a personal note, Maggie is alway looking for and implementing ways to keep her family’s home environmentally sustainable especially in the kitchen where she loves to cook.
