Lon Taylor is the founder of First Insights, a qualitative research firm specializing in usability testing, focus groups and ethnographic studies. Over the past 15 years Lon has helped firms including Johnson & Johnson, Viacom, Hewlett Packard, American Airlines, Mercedes-Benz, Philips and JP Morgan Chase learn more about their customers within the digital marketplace. He has conducted over 1000 user interviews resulting in clients seeing improved acquisition rates, lower development costs and increased sales.
With several years on the agency side as a project manager for firms now under the Publicis banner, Lon brings his branding and user experience background to objectively advise clients on how to improve their websites, mobile apps and online communications.
He holds a BS from Boston University, mentors at SXSW, has written for Quirks and is a local leader of the Chicago IxDA.
