I spent my first year as a military spouse in a great corporate job, then we moved to a duty station with few job opportunities so I completed my MBA online. Then we moved overseas where there were limitations on hiring Americans due to SOFA laws. When we finally moved to California in 2015, that's when I started my freelance writing job, and I have now successfully grown my business while living at 3 different duty stations!

I am a professional editor and author who has published hundreds of articles supporting the military community. My Seasoned Spouse blog shares resources and stories to encourage fellow military families. This year, my 3rd book, "Open When: Letters of Encouragement for Military Spouses," will be published by Military Family Books in September.
