Liz Ott brings over 15 years of client service, strategy, design, and technology experience to her role as an Account Director at Threespot. Her in-house and agency tenures allow her to excel in managing both the big picture and the minute details. Liz is responsible for delivering strategic guidance, developing and maintaining relationships, and helping a diverse roster of clients including United Nations Environment Programme, National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC), Pew Charitable Trusts, Planned Parenthood, and the U.S. Department of State define and refine their strategies and better deliver on their missions.

Prior to joining Threespot, Liz worked as a marketing consultant for USPS.com and at The Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Technology in Education (CTE), managing a team that was responsible for CTE’s online presence. Liz holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and economics from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in marketing from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.

Liz served as President of AIGA DC, the 6th largest AIGA Chapter in the nation with over 1000 members. She managed a board of 23 dedicated volunteers that brought meaningful programs and initiatives in design to the local community. They also created a scholarship initiative with the goal of increasing diversity in the design profession by helping under-represented future designers earn an associate, undergraduate, or graduate degree. Recently, Liz was instrumental in establishing The Design Continuum Fund Endowment for Design Education and she currently serves on the endowment committee. She also serves on the local B Corp steering committee focusing on helping Mid-Atlantic businesses to contribute meaningfully to our community.
