Liz is an educational technologist at Western Sydney University. After finishing a degree in psychology and political science at the University of Sydney, and still not really sure what she wanted to do, Liz worked in a variety of jobs including retail, data entry, kitchen service and call centre customer service. She also wanted to travel a bit before settling down into a career. After discovering the world of web development at her last job, she made an unusually quick decision to do the web development immersive course at GA, and it turned out to be a great decision.
She now spends her time building educational digital assets in order to create engaging student learning experiences. With the knowledge that her work impacts many students and staff, Liz finds purpose and enjoyment in what she does and has a strong desire to continue to develop her skills as she works.
