    Instructional Associate, General Assembly

    Sydney

I’m a Sydney based junior data scientist with years of experience in data analysis, original research, and experimental design.

My strength lies in my thirst for knowledge, critical thinking and problem-solving. I am passionate about finding ways of leveraging data (particularly with machine learning processes) to answer questions pertinent to world issues such as climate change and create realistic solutions for implementation.

As well as being involved in data analytics and data science, I am currently in the process of publishing a year-long research project in the field of plant ecology at UNSW. My research has found that 53% of land plant species in eastern Australia have shifted their ranges over the last 150 years, presumably due to climate change.

Fun fact: My cover photo is a picture I took on a research trip. It is a striking picture of kilometers of damaged forest from the 2019 bushfires in Australia.
