I am a UX Designer with a background in Sales and Marketing. Honing my consultative skills across business development, account management and client success allowed me to connect with clients and customers and I always found myself empathising with them and trying to enhance the experience for them.
After a 14-year stint in London, I relocated back to Australia in 2020 and it was during the pandemic that I was able to reflect on what I wanted to do moving forward and what kind of career would make me feel more fulfilled and how I could best make the most of my transferrable skills.
I was introduced to UX Design and it immediately resonated with me. One of the best decisions I have made was to enrol in General Assembly’s UX Design Immersive course. I am now able to effectively use my skills of empathy and communication to help design solutions that can make a positive impact.
