New York City
Kwasi has always been passionate about the cross section between music, culture and media. In the early stages of his career he planned and executed digital ad campaigns for some of the industry's largest brands including Microsoft, IBM, and Paypal. His career turned a corner when he began working at Billboard Magazine two years ago on the digital marketing team before ultimately moving into a content and experiential marketing role. In this current role he works closely with his clients to execute content driven marketing initiatives, aligning brands with musicians who are looking to tell engaging and authentic narratives.
Kwasi attributes much of his success to being the person to raise a hand and volunteering for the tasks that no one else wanted. By consistently asking questions and taking on extra assignments he was able to circumvent his lack of creative experience and has since been given the opportunity to work with Directors, Producers, Musicians, Actresses, Record Labels, etc. to create meaningful content.
