Krystal Folkes an Open Source Software Support Engineer on Azure App Service Team at Microsoft. Krystal has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and Minor in Information Technology from the University of Central Florida. She’s an educator and a mentor in various STEM programs such as Black Girls Code, Girls Who Code, NSBE Jr’s.
She has been a member of the National Society of Black Engineers for 9 years. Currently in NSBE, she also is the NSBE Dallas - Fort Worth Professionals Chapter - Vice President. She uses her infectious energy to inspire and mentor others every day on her team at Microsoft, NSBE, and with others within the DFW community.
Krystal is passionate about using her gifts to educate students about technology and software within her expertise in software training and labs within the industry related to Open Source Software and robotics AI for students and professionals.
