After finishing undergrad studies in Australia, Kristen moved to Germany to complete a Ph.D. in mathematics at the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics. She then pursued Postdoctoral research in the USA at UC Berkeley and Stanford University.
While living in Silicon Valley, she transitioned into the tech industry via an early stage startup. She was then able to quickly leverage this experience to move into a data science role at a well funded Ag-Tech startup in New York. These two roles gave her a solid foundation for her move back home to Australia, where she took up a role in Telstra.
Today she focuses on building the next generation of chatbots, leveraging artificial intelligence and natural language processing.
