    Kristen Avini is the Program Director of Mass Innovation Nights (MIN), a monthly Boston area product pitch and networking event that has launched over one thousand products and connected entrepreneurs to over 1.3 billion dollars in funding. Avini curates the launching companies, appropriate sponsoring organizations, and potential investors to create events that maximize visibility for innovative products, corporate partners, and the funding community. She has increased event attendance to several hundred per month over the last five years. An expert in social media powered events, Avini reaches over 16.5 k followers on Twitter though Mass Innovation Nights and keeps in touch with 15,000 weekly newsletter subscribers to promote new products and make new connections to business and funding through the MIN website.

    Prior to her role at MIN, Avini was a global HR consultant with Hewlett Packard and Siemens, working and living in Boston, San Francisco, and Germany for 10 years. She came back to the Boston area in 2013 and took up the charge to expand Mass Innovation Nights in support of the Boston area innovation ecosystem. She is delighted and enthusiastic about the positive changes she returned to and continues to advance— a more diverse, progressive, and innovative Boston.
