Kemei is currently working as a UX designer at Firemark Labs, which is the innovation lab of IAG, Australia and New Zealand's largest general insurer. At the Lab, she is involved in a variety of experiments that aim to make the world a safer place and also works with partners to provide UX/UI consultancy and service.
Prior to transitioning into the world of tech and design, she was a commercial insurance underwriter at MSIG where she improved user experience in a very different form. Earlier to that, her education in Psychology was formative in her understanding of how people behave and react to stimuli. She joined General Assembly's UXDI course in early 2020. Since then, she has been harnessing the synergy of her creative, methodological and emphatic selves to bring value to others through good design.
