Kelly Crown is an Innovation Consultant for the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) Innovation Studio. In this role, Kelly leads both the CHLA virtual care strategy and implementation and the Digital Health Lab, which is an incubator for digital health technologies in pediatric health care delivery. The Digital Health Lab includes a portfolio of 16 early stage start-up companies that are provided seed funding, business model coaching, pitch practice and extensive mentorship from internal CHLA experts and external business and technology experts. Prior to joining CHLA, Kelly was the Director of Strategy for Optum State Government Solutions. Kelly is passionate about improving health care delivery and an active promoter of mentorship and networking for career advancement. Kelly is currently pursuing her M.B.A. at USC Marshall School of Business and received her B.A. in Health & Societies with a concentration in Health Care Markets and Finance from the University of Pennsylvania.
