Katy Stover is the Head of Channel Sales at Eterneva, a consumer technology company focused on grief wellness. Eterneva is aiming to change the conversation on grief, death, and remembrance by creating a remarkable experience. Since launching in late 2017, Eterneva has been featured on Shark Tank, CNBC on The Money, The World According to Jeff Goldblu, Keeping up with the Kardashians, Yahoo Finance, worked with celebrities like Christian Serratos and billionaire Jeff Hoffman, and made the Forbes and Inc 30 Under 30 list. Last year they were named one of Austin’s fastest-growing companies by Austin Inno.

Katy is also the co-founder of HigherPeople, a talent development agency focused on recruiting, re-skilling, and retaining talent. She helps companies with hiring needs, hosts training events in design thinking, web development, product management and leadership, and consults on developing their talent development, training and retention strategy.

Prior to that, Katy was an Engagement Manager for General Assembly where she partnered with fortune 500 companies, including Booz Allen, Bloomberg, Capital One, The Department of Defense, and Disney, to upskill and reskill their teams. Most notably, she managed the strategy and implementation to train 5,000 Booz Allen employees in data science.

Earlier in her career, Katy was a Project Manager at Pearson and a Teach For America Corps Member in Washington D.C. She is highly involved in the community - founding an organization called The Get Up, running a fun group called Adulting Club, leading meetup events for Ed Tech Austin, and volunteering with Austin Design Week. Her background in education paired with her love of start-ups makes her a passionate advocate for lifelong learning and career development.
