Katie Curtis is the VP of Global Technology Solutions & Event Marketing at Zayo Group. With 10 plus years in Leadership across multiple industry leading companies, Katie offers a well rounded skill set spanning IT Operations with budgetary accountability, contract management and negotiation, and marketing development.

Within this role, Katie has been responsible for turnaround scenarios, developing new processes and organizational structures, and building unique teams with diverse backgrounds while delivering the highest customer service scores in Zayo history. Katie specializes in process improvement and has spent her career focusing on increasing efficiencies and reducing costs while providing effortless service across four countries. This focus on process has allowed her to expand her focus from IT into vendor and contract management, as well as event management.

Katie joined Zayo from Swiss Post Solutions (SPS) where she was a Client Services Manager and built the most productive IT team in SPS history. Before her time at Swiss Post Solutions, she held multiple leadership positions at Long View Systems and managed a Global Service Desk team supporting over 20 enterprise companies in multiple continents. Her focus has not only been on providing customer support but also on updating solutions and increasing process efficiency to better align with ITIL and SIX SIGMA best practices for numerous enterprise companies.

Katie, a graduate of Colorado State University, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Minor in Business Management, lives with her husband, a Colorado native and an IT Security analyst and their dog in Denver, Colorado. They enjoy exploring Denver’s offerings for fine dining and culture.
