    San Diego

    Kate is currently working as a software engineer for ViaSat. Prior to working for ViaSat, she worked at Quest Analytics as a full stack software engineer using Angular, C#, and React. She then worked at Circadence as a frontend software engineer where she contributed to projects for the Department of Defense. She mostly codes in React and Redux.

    Kate earned a B.A. with a double major in Political Science/Law and Society and an A.S. in Organized Leadership and Supervision from Purdue University. After graduating, she completed some graduate school classes and then found her way into technical staffing. To improve her ability to communicate with candidates, she took some coding classes for fun. Shortly after, she fell in love with JavaScript and the way it allowed her to be creative. She then attended a coding bootcamp in San Diego and became a full stack software engineer.

    A former Purdue athlete, Kate is also very passionate about running. She also enjoys yoga and trivia.
