Kate Shirley works in Chicago as a front end developer at advertising agency Cramer-Krasselt. She enjoys collaborating with colleagues to create engaging web experiences that are both enjoyable to look at and enjoyable to use. While attending General Assembly's Web Development Immersive in Summer 2015, Kate discovered a passion for the creative aspects of coding and strives to hit that intersection of design and function in all of her projects. In previous lives Kate worked in nonprofit fundraising, marketing, and taught English in South Korea. Besides coding Kate also loves hiking, cooking, and yoga.
