Kate Murdoch is a User Experience Designer, a boat captain, a rock guitarist... and has a very strange resume indeed. Her eclectic background includes experience as a Duck driver, an elementary school teacher, and a member of the band Sidewalk Driver. These varied positions have helped Kate to hone her problem-solving, leadership, presentation, and multitasking abilities. Her careful (obsessive?) attention to detail and her eye for design, along with the domain skills she gained in General Assembly's UXDI program, have led to an exciting transition into a career in UX. She is now an Information Architect & UX Designer at BlueMetal, an interactive design and technology architecture consulting firm.
