Justin McLeod is a business savvy visionary that combines his passion for events, marketing, and creativity into all of his endeavors. As a Georgia State University Alumnus he gained a B.A. in Marketing and Certificate in Event Management in 2015. At GSU, he discovered his passion for event coordinating working with the student programming board on campus producing events for over 35,000 college students.
Over the span of 7 years Justin has acquired valuable experience in the event services industry from handling sales and sponsorships as a Sales Executive at the Georgia Dome to creating and implementing a social media strategy for the largest sports, entertainment, and convention complexes in the world, GWCCA.
Currently, Justin is the CEO and Co-Founder of Event Tent, an award winning event marketing startup based in Atlanta, Georgia. And most recently, Justin has launched a creative marketing agency called Surthrive that specializes in producing engaging online and offline campaigns.
Justin is an advocate for closing the diversity gap in the technology industry and his main objective is to uplift the community in the most positive way possible by exemplifying leadership and encouraging the youth to purse their passions and dreams through entrepreneurship.
