Julie was working in IT support for over 10 years, before deciding to change careers in 2020 during the pandemic. After completing a few intro courses with Code First: Girls (CFG) and Leeds Trinity University, she went on to apply for a Nanodegree with CFG, sponsored by DAZN. After completing the course, she is now working as a Junior Software Engineer at DAZN.
