Julia Greissl

Julia Greissl is a Data Scientist at WalmartLabs. She has a strong affinity for building products powered by data and data science and has worked on a diverse set of data science problems in the search space. Currently, Julia is working on personalization and recommendations in e-commerce.
Julia attended Caltech, then followed up with a PhD in Astrophysics trying to model extragalactic star formation. She then joined the data science field by helping to build a new web search engine at Blekko (recently acquired by IBM Watson).
