Joshua Tracy served a total of 9 year in the United States Army. At the age of 17, he joined the Colorado Army National Guard as a 35M Human Intel Collector. Following basic and AIT he deployed to Afghanistan working in the Detention Facility In Parwan (DFIP) on Bagram AFB with the 16th MP BDE (Airborne). Following his time in Afghanistan, he worked for the J24O Mexico Division at NORAD NORTHCOM out of Peterson AFB, Colorado for 2 years. He then returned to the Colorado Army National Guard with the Co. D, 572nd ENG Bn., 86th INF BCT Military Intelligence (Mountain) part of the 10th Mountain Division, as the Mountain Training NCO.
While serving in the COARNG, he perused his Bachelor of Art in International Studies with and emphasis in the Global Political Economy and International Relations from the University of Denver. After taking some time off, he returned to the University of Denver to earn his Master of Science in Business Management. He now works as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch.
