Jordan Dea-Mattson is the Vice President of Engineering at Carousell. Jordan wrote the first code for which he was paid in 1981, while a student at the University of California at Santa Cruz (UCSC). He worked in Silicon Valley for over 35 years including stints at Apple, Adobe Systems, Yahoo, and a number of startups. Jordan has a passion for developing software engineers and building strong software engineering organisations. He and Carousell are dedicated to building a strong and vibrant software engineering organization at Carousell as well as contributing to the development of a software engineering community in Singapore.
