12 years ago, John started his career working in change management in the consultancy sector, getting to grips with the business and leadership challenges of different kinds of organisations, from priories of nuns to FTSE 100s. Following that, he made the natural leap into Pro-Wrestling for a couple of years, touring the country getting cheered and (mostly) jeered.
With that under his (title) belt, he crossed over into people comms and recruitment marketing, to deliver end-to-end employer brands for companies like Whitbread, Legal & General and JLR. To quench his thirst for digital he subsequently joined Waste, leading the accounts for Camelot, Centrica, intu, Rank Group, Howdens, Nintendo and most recently WW (formerly Weight Watchers). At Waste, John works on delivering best in class digital from strategy through to reporting, helping the client services team live up to the agency’s ‘minimum nonsense’ mantra.
