John Hibble

Collaboration Designer, Facilitator

John, an engineer by training, spent 12 years at ANZ in various management and specialist roles, most recently in the practice of large-group facilitation for internal transformation programs.

Since leaving ANZ, he has been a practitioner and educator in design, facilitation and visualisation partnering with consulting firms, wheretofromhere? and Collabforge and visualisation practice, Visual Friends. In this time he has designed and facilitated collaborative workshops in both public and private sector in fields as diverse as Banking, Insurance, Property, Transportation, Environment and Health & Community Services.

From an education perspective John co-founded The Facilitation Starter, a collaboration to make facilitation skills more accessible to people who are relatively new to facilitation, is a co-author of ‘Collaboration by Design', a practitioner’s field guide on design and facilitation. He can also teach anyone to visualise and draw in their workplace in just two days, using the highly effective 'Bikablo' technique.
