John currently leads Product Design at Waldo Photos, an Austin based facial recognition and machine learning start-up. Prior to Waldo Photos, John worked at Razorfish, Austin. He earned a BFA in Visual Communications from the George Washington University and has been working in the creative field for over 15 years. He was Creative Director at F2M2, where he led digital efforts for brands such Red Bull, Fox Digital Entertainment, and Live Nation. Before F2M2, he served as VP, Design at Los Angeles’ HeckArt Studios where he oversaw projects for brands such as Coca-Cola, Korbel Champagne, Acura, Pininfarina and the U.S. Department of State. His work earned industry recognition from W3, AAF, FINAT, HOW and was exhibited at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
