Joel Etherton is a Software Engineering Manager at Convercent currently managing teams re-envisioning how data is ingested, consumed and analyzed. His teams are currently using serverless Azure to ingest data into the core system and transplant data into the Azure data lake for analysis. With a degree in computer science from University of South Florida, he has been in software engineering since 1996 and has covered a wide variety of industries. An avid soccer fan and movie buff, he still ends up elbows deep in coding on one project or another outside of company time.
