Jessenia is the founder and head designer of Jevela Jewelry. After studying accessories design at The Fashion Institute of Technology, Jessenia began building her design skills while working with numerous fashion companies in New York City. It was while working at a jewelry company that she really started finding her path in jewelry design and began taking metalsmith classes. From there, Jevela would be born. A jewelry company with designs inspired by travel, and motivated to connect people, places, and purpose. Since leaving New York City to go backpacking in 2017, Jessenia has been fully enthralled in building Jevela Jewelry. She has gained serious momentum since becoming a full time entrepreneur from moving production to factories and also being featured in BRIDES magazine. Jessenia has progressively been learning the ropes for what it takes to start a business on your own.
