Jesse Vickey is the co-founder of Dinner Elf, an Austin-based company founded in 2015 that provides on-demand and affordable chefs to people who want to eat better.
Dinner Elf's goal is to give busy families an affordable option to come home to scratch-made meals made from whole ingredients. Serving everyone from new moms to people in difficult seasons, Dinner Elf hopes to give people a convenient way to eat well.
Jesse is a two-decade veteran of starting companies. His first company, Cap & Compass, serves college alumni associations with a mobile app and white-label book on life skills to help colleges connect with their young alumni.
He is a graduate of Duke University, and had a first career as a derivatives trader on Wall Street. In his free time, he has enjoyed serving as a mentor for students in the UT Longhorn Start Up class and teaching an entrepreneurship club called "Start Up Doss" at his children's elementary school. His passion for food tech start ups has already rubbed off on his 11-year-old daughter, who runs a popular local on-line bakery called Elle Belle's Bake Shop.
