Jenny Mannello earned an Associate of Science in Computer Application Development, with Minors in Technical Communications and Gender Studies, from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minnesota. As a student intern in website design, Jenny heard WeCo Director of Accessibility Services, Sue Ann Rodriquez, speak in a Metro State UX/UI class, which sparked her desire to be part of WeCo’s accessibility mission. Post-college, Jenny landed a full-time Website Designer and Coordinator position for an international hospitality company, yet her desire to work with WeCo and contribute to genuine accessibility for people living with disabilities, was still central to her career goals. After completing a successful internship with WeCo in the summer of 2020, Jenny was invited to join the company’s Accessibility Team as an Accessibility Specialist, a few months later.
