Jennifer Jacot

Instructional Associate, General Assembly

Anticipation and empathy are Jennifer's secret weapons. In her past life as a Brand Director for a multi-location luxury salon in Beverly Hills, she unknowingly collected the skills to prepare her for a career in UX. She created delightful user experiences throughout the flow of the salon's activities, directed by a desire to find solutions to the guest's needs before the guests were even aware of them. She enjoys trying, failing and succeeding at various solutions to find the perfect match every time. This background led Jennifer straight to UX and she has not looked back since.

Jennifer specializes in making products and brands come to life and giving them an emotional identity. She does this through research, various IA concepts, prototyping, UI design, and above all– storytelling. She is currently an Instructional Associate at General Assembly Atlanta.
