Jen Brenneman is Director of Learning & Development at MongoDB. She's only been in tech a little over a year, having devoted most of her career to education and nonprofit consulting. She moved to New York in July 2001 to teach elementary school in the Bronx with Teach For America, and someday she hopes to become a hospice nurse. For now, she's busy playing mom to two young boys (ages 10 and 7), refereeing soccer games, enjoying the challenges of a scaling tech company.
