Jeff is passionate about helping people learn data science and data analysis. He is the author of the books Memorable Python, Memorable Docker, Memorable SQL, and the forthcoming Memorable Pandas. He has been designated a top Medium writer in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Technology. Jeff is a co-organizer of Data Science DC, the largest Data Science MeetUp in Washington, DC.
Jeff is an experienced entrepreneur who has managed technology, operations, and finances for several companies. He is currently the COO of Rebel Desk, a treadmill desk company he cofounded. Jeff teaches Data Science at General Assembly and has taught several college-level business courses. He has an MBA and an MS in Management and is a Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer.
Jeff lives in Washington, DC with two wonderful kids, an intelligent, lovely, considerate spouse, an ancient beagle, and a cute kitten. In his free time you'll likely find him in the gym or on the trail.
