JD is a versatile creative professional with more than fifteen years experience in interactive design, user experience, team management, and thought leadership as well as over twenty years experience in traditional graphic design and marketing. He is experienced managing creative businesses, coordinating teams of creatives—large and small—and bridging design concerns with business services, technology, education and communication needs.
JD has previously taught creative techniques and technologies at Creative Circus, the Atlanta College of Art, mentored students and staff to enrich their careers, and taught history at the University of Georgia. He is also published and has spoken locally and nationally.
