Dr. Trager specializes in the utilization of data science, process engineering, machine learning, and artificial intelligence tools to increase the profitability and effectiveness of businesses in solar and energy efficiency. Jason has led data-driven improvement efforts for several well known and respected companies in solar and energy efficiency. He is an expert in quality data science and serves on the SEIA Quality Assurance Committee. Jason is a proud member of the energy data experts network (EnergyDEN). He earned his Ph.D. from UC Berkeley with a focus on the application of mass-production methodologies to energy efficiency in buildings.
