J is an artist turned engineer. She worked as an art director for several years before going through a software bootcamp, and she hasn’t looked back since. J taught at the General Assembly campus in NYC for about a year before moving on to work at J.Crew, First Look Media, and Ribbon Home. Her favorite things to build are Node microservices and tricky React components. She’s excited to dive back into the world of teaching with a newfound understanding of the industry and a fresh perspective on the course materials.
