Holly Gibson
Software Engineer, Women Who Code
Holly Gibson has always been interested in tech because she sees it as a canvas for creativity. After a successful career in marketing, graphic design and program management, she dove into coding at MakerSquare. After graduating from MakerSquare, Holly was the lead developer at an education startup — doing everything from app development and server management to IT support for the tech muggles. When not solving problems in Ruby, Python and JavaScript, Holly dabbles in functional programming, photography and painting. She also loves mentoring code newbies at Women Who Code Austin, where she serves as the Executive Director for a network of 1500+ women in tech.
