Heena Otia works as a Data Scientist at EMX Digital – a global AdTech company based in Midtown Manhattan.
Her journey into Data Science happened by chance and now she is most passionate about data analysis and presenting actionable insights to key stakeholders along with aggressively scaling her machine learning skills.
Earlier she worked as a Digital Analytics Associate at The Madison Square Garden Company, which served as a foundation for achieving her dream job today.
She holds a Masters degree in Information Systems from New Jersey Institute of Technology and also has experience as a Web developer and in data management.
The most valuable lesson she’s learnt in her career is to stand up for yourself and strive towards gender equality at work.
In her free time, she likes to volunteer for non-profits’ online projects posted on Catchafire.com and she is also a dedicated Eco-warrior spreading sustainable living tips.
