Heather Jin is the Global Head of Social Impact at Medallia, leading Medallia.org with a mission to leverage their two superpowers -- product and people powers -- for social good. Two years ago, she founded Medallia.org from the ground up, starting it as a grassroots movement and transforming it into an embedded social enterprise. With her strategy and vision, Medallia.org has empowered Medallians to volunteer over 10k hours, fundraise and sponsor over half a million dollars, deepen partnerships with charities to maximize workforce diversity, and enable over 45 nonprofits with best-in-class technology to scale their missions. Prior to her current role, she was in Professional Services at Medallia -- consulting about customer experience for Fortune 500 customers -- and was a Systems Engineer at GE Aviation.
As an immigrant and daughter of working-class parents, she is passionate about giving back as a way to pay it forward. She is a proud alumnus of Washington University in St. Louis and is lucky to call many communities home -- including Tokyo, Osaka, Los Angeles, New Orleans, St. Louis, and San Francisco.
