Gayla Story

UXDI Co-Instructor, General Assembly

Denver

Gayla recently transitioned from formal K-12 education to a successful career in User Experience Design. She has gone from "student-centered" to "user-centered." Now, she joins us to leverage her decades of education expertise and her successes as a UX/UI professional by co-instructing UXDI at GA Denver.

Gayla’s collaborative, organizational and leadership skills will benefit all of her students as she supports them to problem-solve and create with the best interests of the user in mind. Gayla strongly believes that empathy is a huge tool in a designer's toolkit. It helps solve problems and develop thoughtful, meaningful solutions. She supplied endless empathy as an educator for young students, parents, and other education leaders. She plans to bring her exceptional capacity for empathy to every student she instructs at General Assembly.
