Gabrielle Derenthal

Sr. Product Designer, Turner Sports

Atlanta

Gabi began her design career at the age of five, sitting on her Creative Director father’s lap and bossily telling him to move that image over there and make that text bigger. For many years after, she honed her skills in the fine arts, learning how to draw, paint and, more importantly, how to see.

Her official career path in Graphic Design started at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. After graduating with high honors in 2008, she moved to New York City to work at BorsaWallace, a boutique design studio where she worked on projects for brands such as Clinique, P&G, Gillette and Penguin Books.

In 2010, Gabi was offered the chance to lead her own studio, Main Attack Media. She jumped at the opportunity without thinking twice and had the privilege of designing for Super Bowl winners, an Olympic gold medalist, and a Victoria’s Secret Angel.

Gabi moved to Atlanta in 2011 and began working as Senior Designer at the American Cancer Society on their Digital Experience team. Today, Gabi works as a Sr. Product Designer at Turner Sports where she designs digital products for March Madness, NCAA.com, PGA, Ryder Cup, and Turner's brand new tech start-up, Catch Sports.

During her free time, you can find Gabi and her husband Alex trying to reign in their mischievous dog Barkley, eating out on the Westside, watching Netflix or traveling.
