Gabriel Mérida is a Chilean-Australian senior software engineer and tech lead with a background as a journalist.
He has worked in companies like Cluey, Domain Group, and Pluralsight, where his aim has been to collaborate with people from multiple disciplines to build a great product and learn along the way.
He has been a mentor for junior engineers and anyone wanting to come into developing software, and he's convinced that anyone should be able to bring their skills from one field to another without fear. Since 2021, he has been a Lead Instructor of Software Engineering at General Assembly, turning students into future co-workers.
