    Felipe Donnelly spent his childhood traveling through Spain, Mexico and his parents home country of Colombia. After moving to the United States to attend college in Washington DC, he spent more than a decade working for global advertising agencies focused on brand strategy. As an outlet for his creative energy, Felipe always loved to cook and wanted to transition into the culinary world. Pulling inspiration and influences from his childhood travels, Felipe, along with his wife Tamy Rofe, started a series of intimate supper clubs in their apartment in 2010, which provided Felipe the opportunity to leave his advertising job and finally pursue cooking as a career. After much success with the pop-ups the duo opened their first restaurant Comodo in Soho in 2012, and their second two years later. The beloved Latin American restaurant Colonia Verde in Fort Greene, which has been nominated for a James Beard award and became known for its lively Sunday Asado series featuring guest chefs from around the world. Tamy and Felipe along with their partner Mac Osborne are also the team behind Comparti, a full-service catering company. In Summer of 2020, they wanted to bring moments of joy during a stressful time and opened Disco Tacos, a food truck with disco music and vibrant neon colors. One year later after countless tacos served all over New York, the food truck transitioned to a full service restaurant in the heart of Williamsburg. Most recently, Felipe and Tamy reopened Comodo at Freehand New York. Through each restaurant and service, Felipe enjoys creating nostalgic dishes, curating unexpected mezcales programs and hosting guests from all over the world.

    Originally from Mexico City, Tamy Rofe moved to the United States to attend college in San Antonio, Texas. Following graduation, she made her way to New York, where she spent more than a decade working for global advertising agencies focused on brand strategy, and developed her passion for food and hosting. Drawn to the magic of the dinner table, Tamy and her husband Felipe Donnelly started a series of intimate, weekly supper clubs, Thursday at Worth Street, in their apartment in 2010. As the supper clubs grew in popularity, Tamy developed her passion for natural wines, and later went on to become a certified sommelier. After much success with the pop-ups the duo opened their first restaurant Comodo in Soho in 2012, and their second two years later. The beloved Latin American restaurant Colonia Verde in Fort Greene, which has been nominated for a James Beard award and became known for its lively Sunday Asado series featuring guest chefs from around the world. Tamy and Felipe along with their partner Mac Osborne are also the team behind Comparti, a full-service catering company, and Casa by Colonia Verde, a pantry and marketplace of curated prepared foods, fresh produce, home goods, wine, and more. One year later after countless tacos served all over New York, the food truck transitioned to a full service restaurant in the heart of Williamsburg. Most recently, Felipe and Tamy reopened Comodo at Freehand New York.
