Eugene Kovnatsky is Vice President, Technology at inMarket, the leader in digital advertising for the physical world. Since joining in April of 2017 he has been leading all technology initiatives at inMarket including software engineering, application architecture, technology selection, coding standards, software quality and reliability, data and platforms engineering.

Prior to inMarket Eugene served as VP, Software Engineering in NBC Universal, Digital Products and Interactive Media. Eugene joined NBCUniversal in July of 2013, where he oversaw all aspects of Software Engineering across multiple geo-distributed technology teams. Eugene led broad spectrum of technology efforts across the company ranging from modernizing News Digital solutions to implementing multi platform publishing across variety of NBCUniversal entertainment brands.

Prior to NBCUniversal Eugene served as VP, Software Engineering at Dex Media, the leading provider of marketing solutions for local businesses. Eugene joined Dex in 2010, where he led the Software Engineering and Agile Project Management organizations in charge of supporting a $500M Digital Product Development business. As part of the technology leadership team, Eugene was instrumental in facilitating an overall digital technology transformation, resulting in a 30% YoY growth of Dex’s digital business as well as the successful company-wide adoption of Agile Product Development.

Prior to Dex Media Eugene served at Business.com, Lablz, Life Alert Emergency Response, Inc and Information Builders in various technology roles.

Eugene is a graduate of Saint Petersburg State Polytechnical University in Russia with a Masters Degree in Computer Science. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife, son and daughter.
